Relaxation Massage is a full-body treatment combining passive stretching of the limbs, the long, flowing strokes of Swedish Massage and shorter, therapeutic strokes of the Neuromuscular Technique for Postural Integration to balance the stress and relaxation responses of your nervous system. Our Relaxation Massage is typically performed with super-hydrating coconut oil to leave you soft and smooth, or jojoba oil, which is unscented and is closest to your skin’s natural oils.This lets the rolling, kneading strokes glide smoothly over your skin.
Relaxation Massage is often done with light or medium pressure, but deeper pressure can be used as well. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. Anyone can benefit from this type of bodywork, but it is particularly helpful for people suffering from anxiety or depression.
